2001-2002 Winter Sports Banquet

March 7, 2002 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team celebrated the conclusion of the indoor season season at the annual Winter Sports Banquet hosted in the Fitchburg High School Cafe Thursday night.

Receiving recognition for their efforts were Bryan Marotta, Most Valuable Performer; Thomas Laakso, Coaches’ Award; Adam Basilio, Most Improved Runner; Anthony Murray, Freshmen Award; and the seasonal Bull Goose Loony Award (in memory of throwing Coach Jack Jerszyk), Gregory Rodriguez. These athletes, along with thirty-seven others, received the right to wear the "F" by earning Varsity Letters, for their commitment, hard work, and dedication to the sport of track and field.

All-Stars Announced

March 1, 2002- Named Midland-Wachusett A League All-Stars for 2001-2002 were Craig Babineau, Adam Basilio, Loi Trieu, and Everette Pankey for capturing first place in the two mile relay at the Mid-Wach A League Championships, while seniors Bryan Marotta and Tom Laakso were selected by Mid-Wach A coaches as at-large All-Stars for their outstanding contributions to the league throughout the season. Babineau, Basilio, Laakso, Pankey and Trieu were also named Sentinel & Enterprise All-Stars.


Red Raiders Finish Seventh At State Pentathlon
Logan Breaks Three Pentathlon Records

February 27, 2002 - The Fitchburg High School men’s indoor track team ran to a seventh place finish at the Massachusetts State Track Coaches Pentathlon held Wednesday night at the Reggie Lewis Track and Field Facility, Roxbury Community College.

Junior Ryan Logan finished eighth overall, scoring 2,921 points in the five event competition comprised of the 55 meter hurdles, long jump, high jump, shot put, and 1000 meters. Logan broke three school pentathlon records in the process as his total points eclipsed the Fitchburg High School record for most points scored overall, as well as most points scored by a junior. Logan’s other record breaking perfomance came in the long jump, where he leaped 20’1", surpassing the previous distance by 5". Jeff Guenette, Class of 1999, who currently competes for Dartmouth College, held all three previous records.

Logan combined with fellow juniors Andrew Bisol, 33rd, 2,157 points, and Chris Brodeur, 34th place, 2,032 points, for the team’s total of 7,110 points, and Fitchburg’s place in the meet.


Logan Finishes Second In State Class B Long Jump
3200 Meter Relay Is Sixth

February 17, 2002 - The Fitchburg High School men’s indoor track team ran to a nineteenth place finish Sunday afternoon at the MIAA 2002 Indoor Class B Championships held at the Reggie Lewis Track & Field Center, Roxbury Community College.

Ryan Logan led the way for the Red Raiders jumping a personal best 20’5.25" in the long jump to finish second, while the 3200 meter relay team comprised of Tom Laakso, Loi Trieu, Craig Babineau, and Everette Pankey, was sixth in 8:42.02. Also competing for Fitchburg were Ben Roberts, high jump, 5’11", seventh; Logan, 55 meter high hurdles, 8.35, tenth; Andrew Bisol, Adam Basilio, Chris Brodeur, and Roberts, 1600 meter relay, 3:43.86, eleventh; Logan, Bisol, Brodeur, and Brian Bouvier, 800 meter relay, season best, 1:37.98, twelfth; and Hector Santiago, shot put, 43’10", nineteenth. Logan’s second place performance qualifies him for next Saturday’s All-State Meet scheduled to get underway at 10:30 p.m.


Red Raiders Finish Sixth In District E, Division I Meet
Relay Teams Shine

February 9, 2002 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team ran to a sixth place finish in the 24th Annual District E, Division I Indoor Invitational Track Meet behind the solid performances of their relay teams. The Red Raiders were led by the record breaking performance of the 880 relay team comprised of Andrew Bisol, Jordan Dursa, Chris Brodeur, and Brian Bouvier, which set school and school facility records by finishing sixth overall in 1:44.91. The two mile relay team comprised of Tom Laakso, Craig Babineau, Jeremy Reid, and Everette Pankey, was third in 9:03.36, while the mile relay team comprised of Bisol, Adam Basilio, Brodeur, and Ben Roberts was also third, running 3:51.74.

Throwing a season best 45'10.75" in the shot put, and finishing third overall, was Hector Santiago, while other points were scored by Laakso in the mile, 4:45.03, third; Roberts in the high jump, 5'8", fourth; and Loi Trieu, 1000 meters, 2:54.84, sixth. Also competing in the meet were Joe Rouse, shot put, 39'5", personal best; Pankey, 2 mile, 11:27.27; Dursa, 55 meter dash, 7.28; and Adam Renquinha, 600 meters, 1:34.80.

The Red Raiders now focus their efforts on preparing for next Sunday's MIAA 85th Annual Boys' Indoor State Class B Track & Field Meet, to be held at the Reggie Lewis Track and Athletic Center, Roxbury Community College, scheduled to get under way at 1:00 p.m.


Red Raiders Run Well At Invitational

February 3, 2002 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team turned in several season best performances at the 26th Annual Massachusetts State Track Coaches Association Invitational Track & Field Meet held Sunday morning at the Reggie Lewis Track & Field Center, Roxbury Community College.

Fitchburg was led by Bryan Marotta, who finished sixth in the mile with a season and personal best 4:26.50. Not to be outdone, teammate Tom Laakso also ran a personal best in the same event, running 4:43.66. The 800 meter relay team comprised of Jordan Dursa, Adam Renquinha, Brian Bouvier, and Chris Brodeur also ran a season best finishing in 1:39.52.

Also representing the Red Raiders in the meet were Roberts, high jump, and 300 meters, 41.20; Andrew Bisol, 300 meters, 40.12; and the 3200 meter relay team comprised of Loi Trieu, Laakso, Adam Basilio, and Everette Pankey, 8:49.10.

The Red Raiders host this weekend's District E Track & Field Championships with the Division I meet getting underway Saturday afternoon at 1:30 p.m. in the Field House.


Red Raiders Clinch Mid-Wach A Championship

January 26, 2002 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team ran to a second place finish at the Mid-Wach A League Meet Saturday morning to capture their third Mid-Wach A Championship in four years. The combination of six league wins and 6 points for their second place finish in the league meet gave them a total of 12 points to edge Wachusett, which finished with 11 points, for the league championship. The final score of the league meet was Wachusett, 92, Fitchburg, 69.5, Milford, 64, North Middlesex, 50, Shrewsbury, 48.5, Leominster, 35, and Algonquin, 12.

The Red Raiders were led by the first place finish of the two mile relay team comprised of Loi Trieu, Craig Babineau, Adam Basilio, and Everette Pankey, besting the field in 9:02.1. Bryan Marotta provided the most excitement on the day, finishing second in the two mile with a field house record time of 9:57.1, while finishing third in the 1000 meters with a time of 2:45.0. Tom Laakso and Blaine Colacchio scored in two events each, as Laakso finished second in the one mile, 4:44.9, and fourth in the 1000 meters, 2:51.2; while Colacchio finished third in both the high jump, 5'10", and 55 meter hurdles, 8.3. Ben Roberts also scored in multiple events, finishing tied for sixth in the high jump, 5'4", sixth in the 300 meters, 40.7, and then joining with Andrew Bisol, Chris Brodeur, and Adam Renquinha, to finish second in the mile relay with a time of 3:54.6. Renquinha was also third in the 600 meters, 1:30.9, while other team points were scored by Hector Santiago, shot put, fifth, 42'9.25"; Pankey, mile, fifth, 4:52.6; and Bisol, 300 meters, fifth, 40.6.

The Red Raiders travel to the Reggie Lewis Track & Field Center in Roxbury next Sunday morning to compete in the 26th Annual Massachusetts State Track Coaches Association Boys' Invitational Track & Field Meet. Meet time is 10:00 a.m.


Red Raiders Finish Fifth In State Class B Relays
Marotta Leads Way As More Records Fall

January 19, 2002 - The Fitchburg High School boys' indoor track team smashed two school records, and set another, en route to a fifth place finish at the Massachusetts State Coaches Class B Relay Championships held Saturday afternoon at Roxbury Community College.

The Red Raiders finished second in the high jump relay with the team of Ben Roberts, Ryan Logan, and Blaine Colacchio, which combined for a height of 17'. Finishing sixth in the meet was the 3200 meter relay team comprised of Tom Laakso, Loi Trieu, Everette Pankey, and Bryan Marotta, which broke the existing school record in that event by over ten seconds with a time of 8:27.8. Marotta anchored the race with a sizzling final split of 2:02.0. Marotta then came back to combine with Laakso, Pankey, and Ben Roberts, to smash the school record in the distance medley by over twenty-seven seconds with a time of 10:53.8. Once again Marotta anchored the team with an outstanding split of 4:25.1 over the final 1600 meters. The long jump relay team comprised of Roberts, Logan, and Andrew Bisol established a school record in that event with a combined distance of 53'11.75", to finish third.

Also competing for Fitchburg was the shot put team comprised of Hector Santiago, Colacchio, and Joe Rouse, which finished tenth with a combined distance of 116'10.75"; Adam Basilio, Ethan Shea, Colacchio, and Logan, 50 yard shuttle hurdles, eleventh, 30.6; Adam Renquinha, Bisol, Jordan Dursa, and Brian Bouvier, 800 meter relay, twelfth, 1:40.1; Renquinha, Dursa, Roberts, and Logan, 50 yard shuttle dash, thirteenth, 23.2; Chris Brodeur, Shawn McGrady, Basilio, and Bisol, 1600 meter relay, fourteenth, 3:43.8.

Running as "B" Teams for the Red Raiders were Nathan Shea, Ethan Shea, Phil McCormack, and Jeremy Reid, 1600 meter relay, twenty-fourth, 4:00.2; Chris Kanclerowicz, Mike Babineau, Matt Barrett, and Bouvier, 50 yard shuttle dash, twenty-eighth, 25.0; Reid, Craig Babineau, Justin Kemp, and McCormack, 3200 meter relay, twenty-ninth, 9:22.0; and Mike Babineau, Barrett, Nick Caravella, and Kanclerowicz, 800 meter relay team, thirty-seventh, 1:50.1.

The Red Raiders host the Mid-Wach A Championships next Saturday morning starting at 8:30 a.m. in the Fitchburg High School field house.


Red Raiders Hold Off Mountaineers
Finish Undefeated At 7-0

January 16, 2002 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team completed their first undefeated season since 1974, defeating Wachusett Regional, 46 to 40, in their final dual meet of the season at the Fitchburg High School field house.

The Red Raiders managed only four first place finishes in the meet, but were able to hold off the Mountaineers by utilizing their team depth. Fitchburg was led by Ryan Logan, who finished first in the 55 meter dash, 6.8, was second in the shot put, 41'8.5", and was third in the 55 meter hurdles in 8.4. Also finishing first were Tom Laakso, mile, 4:44.8; Adam Renquinha, 600 meters, 1:32.0; and Hector Santiago, shot put, 43'10".

Finishing second for Fitchburg were Bryan Marotta, 2 mile, 10:21.2, and 1000 meters, 2:43.7; Blaine Colacchio, 55 meter hurdles, 8.3; Andrew Bisol, 300 meters, 40.1; and Everette Pankey, mile, 4:48.6. Completing the scoring with third place finishes were Jeremy Reid, 2 mile, 10:54.3; Colacchio, shot put, 39'2"; Renquinha, 55 meter dash, 6.9; Adam Basilio, 600 meters, 1:34.0; Ben Roberts, 300 meters, 40.6, and high jump, 5'6"; and Loi Trieu, 1000 meters, 2:53.5. Marotta's time in the 1000 meters, and Santiago's throw in the shot put, improved their own facility records in these events.

The Red Raiders travel to the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury Saturday afternoon to compete in the State Class B Relay Championships. Meet time is 2:00 p.m.


Red Raiders Overtake Scarlet Hawks
Marotta and Roberts Lead The Way

January 12, 2002 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team picked up their sixth win of the season, overtaking Milford, 50 to 36, in a Mid-Wach A meet held Saturday morning in the Field House.

The Red Raiders had six first place performances in the meet led by double winner Bryan Marotta, who captured the mile in 4:38.9, and the 1000 meters in 2:45.1. Ben Roberts had a solid day scoring points in the high jump with a winning leap of 6', the 300 meters, second place in 40.0, and leading off the winning mile relay team comprised of Andrew Bisol, Tom Laakso, and Everette Pankey, in 3:58.5. Also finishing first were Adam Renquinha, 600 meters, 1:34.5, and Pankey, 2 mile, 10:47.4. Marotta's time in the 1000 meters once again lowered the Fitchburg High School field house record in that event.

Second place performances went to Jeremy Reid, 2 mile, 10:49.1; Blaine Colacchio, 55 meter hurdles, 8.2; Laakso, mile, 4:44.9; and Hector Santiago, shot put, 42'10". Completing the scoring with third place performances were Renquinha, 55 meter dash, 7.0; Colacchio, shot put, 40'1"; Adam Basilio, 600 meters, 1:35.3; Bisol, 300 meters, 40.3; and Loi Trieu, 1000 meters, 2:53.1.

The Red Raiders host Wachusett Regional this Wednesday night in their final dual meet of the season. Meet time is 5:00 p.m.


Red Raiders Defeat North Middlesex

January 9, 2002 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team improved it's record to 5-0, defeating North Middlesex Regional, 53 to 33, in a Mid-Wach A meet held Wednesday night in the Fitchburg High School field house.

The Red Raiders captured five first place finishes in the meet led by Blaine Colacchio, who captured the high jump with a height of 5'10", and 55 meter hurdles in 8.1 seconds. Also capturing first were Adam Renquinha, 600 meters, 1:36.0; Everette Pankey, two mile, 10:50.2; and the mile relay team comprised of Ethan Shea, Shawn McGrady, Nathan Shea, and Tom Laakso, 4:01.1.

Finishing second were Jeremy Reid, two mile, 11:01.2; Ryan Logan, 55 meter hurdles, 8.1, and shot put, 41'4"; Bryan Marotta, mile, 4:36.6; Renquinha, 55 meter dash, 6.9; Adam Basilio, 600 meters, 1:36.8; Jordan Dursa, 300 meters, 40.8; and Loi Trieu, 1000 meters, 2:56.5. Colacchio and Logan in the 55 meter hurdles, and Marotta's time in the mile improved the Fitchburg High School field house records.

Completing the scoring by finishing third were Dursa, 55 meter dash, 6.9; Laakso, mile, 4:47.5; Nathan Shea, 600 meters, 1:41.6; Andrew Bisol, 300 meters, 41.1; and Pankey, 1000 meters, 2:57.5.

Marotta Breaks 1000 Meter Record Again

January 5, 2002 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team improved to 4-0, defeating Shrewsbury, 53 to 33, in a Mid-Wach A meet held Saturday morning at the Fitchburg High School field house.

The Red Raiders were led by Bryan Marotta, who captured the two mile, 10:31.6, and the 1000 meters, 2:46.7; and Blaine Colacchio, who won the high jump with a height of 5'10", and the 55 meter hurdles in 8.2 seconds. Marotta's time in the 1000 meters broke his own facility record by one second set last year. Other first place performances were turned in by Tom Laakso in the mile, 4:54.8; and Adam Renquinha in the 600 meters, 1:35.4.

Finishing second for Fitchburg were Jeremy Reid, two mile, 11:03.4; Hector Santiago, shot put, 41'10"; Renquinha, 55 meter dash, 7.0; Everette Pankey, mile, 4:59.7; Andrew Bisol, 300 meters, 40.4; and Ben Roberts, high jump, 5'6". Completing the scoring with third place finishes were Adam Basilio, 55 meter hurdles, 8.9, and 600 meters, 1:37.1; Roberts, 300 meters, 40.4; Craig Babineau, mile, 5:11.2; and Loi Trieu, 1000 meters, 2:57.5.

Young Raiders Perform Well At Frosh-Soph Meet

January 5, 2002 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team turned in a number of fine performances Saturday morning at the M.S.T.C.A. Freshman-Sophomore Large School Championship Meet, held at the Reggie Lewis Track & Field Center, Roxbury Community College.

Season best performances for the Red Raiders were turned in by sophomore Shawn McGrady in the 300 meters, 41.64, and the long jump, 13'10.75"; while freshmen Phil McCormack, 600 meters, 1:43.64; and Craig Fiore, 600 meters, 1:50.37, also recorded season bests. Also competing well for Fitchburg were sophomores Nick Carvella, 55 meter dash, 8.00; Adam Dufour, shot put, 32'11.5"; Mike Gagne, 1000 meters, 3:17.16; and freshman Anthony Murray, shot put, 33'1.5".

Records Fall

December 29, 2001 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team improved to 3-0, defeating the Algonquin Tomahawks, 57-29, Saturday morning at the Fitchburg High School Field House.

The Red Raiders were led by Ben Roberts, who captured two events, the high jump with a height of 6', and the 300 meters in 39.9. Individual wins went to Everette Pankey, 1000 meters, 2:57.8; Bryan Marotta, mile, 4:41.0; Adam Renquinha, 600 meters, 1:36.1; Hector Santiago, shot put, 43'4.5"; Jeremy Reid, 2 mile, 11:11.3; and the mile relay team comprised of Ethan Shea, Phil McCormack, Nathan Shea, and Chris Kanclerowicz, 4:16.0. Roberts, high jump, Santiago, shot put, and Marotta, mile, all improved Red Raider Field House records.

Finishing second for Fitchburg were Pankey, 2 mile, 11:13.3; Tom Laakso, mile, 5:00.1; Andrew Bisol, 300 meters, 40.3; and Loi Trieu, 1000 meters, 2:59.2. Completing the scoring with third place finishes were Greg Rodriguez, shot put, 37'9"; Jordan Dursa, 55 meter dash, 7.0; Craig Babineau, mile, 5:23.1; Adam Basilio, 600 meters, 1:38.0; and Justin Kemp, 1000 meters, 3:15.4.

The Red Raider varsity host Shrewsbury this Saturday morning in the Field House starting at 9:00 a.m., while the junior varsity travels to the Reggie Lewis Center Saturday morning to compete in the M.S.T.C.A. Freshman-Sophomore Championship Track Meet, scheduled to get underway at 9:30 a.m.


Red Raiders Celebrate At The Winter Festival
Qualify for State Class B Championships In February

December 22, 2001 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team turned in a number of top performances at the Massachusetts State Track Coaches Association's Winter Festival Meet held Saturday morning at the Reggie Lewis Track & Field Center, Roxbury Community College.

Bryan Marotta, who finished second in the two mile with a season best 9:53.96, led the Red Raiders. Marotta then teamed with Everette Pankey, Loi Trieu, and Tom Laakso to finish sixth in the 3200 meter relay in a season best 8:45.53. Laakso was also fifteenth in the mile with a season best 4:47.31. Finishing third was the 1600 meter relay team comprised of Andrew Bisol, Ben Roberts, Adam Basilio, and Adam Renquinha, running a season best 3:43.43. Renquinha was seventh in the 600 meters in 1:29.55, while Roberts jumped 5'10" in the high jump to finish fourth. All of these performances qualify the individuals and relays for the State Class B Championships to be held on February 17.

Other top performances by event were Hector Santiago, shot put, 39'11.5"; Adam Basilio, 55 meter hurdles, 9.84; Roberts, 55 meter dash, 7.40; Bisol, 300 meters, 39.90, and long jump, 18'1.5"; and Justin Kemp, 1000 meters, 3:11.47. In the Freshmen/Sophomore Division of the one mile run, Pankey was fourth in a season best 4:51.59; while the FR/SO 800 meter relay team comprised of Boonphet Sysoumang, Norberto Rivera, Robert Rodriguez, and Shawn McGrady, ran the top time for Fitchburg in 1:51.84.

The Red Raiders host Algonquin next Saturday in the Field House. Meet time is 9:00 a.m.


Red Raiders Improve To 2-0,
Logan and Roberts Win Two Events Each

December 19, 2001 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team improved to 2-0, defeating Leominster Wednesday night in the Field House, 60-26.

The Red Raiders were led by Ryan Logan and Ben Roberts who captured two events each, as Logan won the 55 meter high hurdles in 8.2, and the shot put with a throw of 42'10", while Roberts won the high jump with a height of 5'8", and the 300 meters in 40.4. Individual wins went to Everette Pankey, 2 mile, 10:56.9; Bryan Marotta, mile, 4:44.8; and Tom Laakso, 1000 meters, 2:50.5. Finishing second for Fitchburg were Jeremy Reid, 2 mile, 10:57.1; Blaine Colacchio, 55 meter high hurdles, 8.5, and high jump, 5'8"; Hector Santiago, shot put, 41'11.75"; Loi Trieu, mile, 5:06.6; Andrew Bisol, 600, 1:39.1; and Shawn McGrady, 300 meters, 42.0. Completing the scoring with third place finishes were Greg Rodriguez, shot put, 38'1"; Roberts, 55 meter dash, 7.0; Chris Brodeur, 600 meters, 1:39.7; and Craig Babineau, 1000 meters, 3:00.1.

The Red Raiders travel to the Reggie Lewis Center in Roxbury Saturday morning to compete in the MSTCA Winter Festival Meet.

Renquinha Breaks Record

December 15, 2001 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team turned in a number of top performances Saturday at the 8th Annual Stormin' Norman High School Classic Track and Field Invitational hosted by Brandeis University in Waltham.

The Red Raiders were led by the second place performances of Blaine Colacchio, in the high jump, 6'; Bryan Marotta in the two mile, 10:02.60; and the 1600 meter relay team comprised of Everette Pankey, Tom Laakso, Chris Brodeur, and Adam Renquinha, 3:45.40. Renquinha was also fifth in the 500 meters setting a school record of 1:12.7 in the process. Other top six performances were turned in by the 800 meter relay team comprised of Jordan Dursa, Ben Roberts, Bryan Bouvier, and Colacchio, fourth, 1:39.92; Ryan Logan, 55 meter high hurdles, fourth, 8:44, and long jump, fourth, 19'9"; Colacchio, 55 meter high hurdles, sixth, 8.61; and Roberts, high jump, fifth, 5'8".

Other top performances by event were Dursa, 55 meter dash, 7.1; Roberts, 200 meters, 25.27; Tom Laakso, mile, 4:50.98; Chris Kanclerowicz, pole vault, 9'6"; Andrew Bisol, 400 meters, 56.33; Jeremy Reid, 800 meters, 2:21.79; Hector Santiago, shot put, 43'.5"; and Loi Trieu, 1000 meters, 2:54.34.

The Red Raiders host Leominster Wednesday night at 5:00 p.m. in the field house.


Red Raiders Open With Exciting Win Over St. John's

December 12, 2001- The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team opened their season with an exciting win over St. John's (Shrewsbury), defeating the Pioneers by a score of 49-37, Wednesday night in the Field House.

The Red Raiders captured seven events in the meet led by Bryan Marotta's first place finishes in the two mile, 10:25.5, and the 1000 meters, 2:47.7. Other first place performances were turned in by Hector Santiago, shot put, 41'1", Ryan Logan, 55 meter high hurdles, 8.3; Tom Laakso, mile, 4:52.4; Blaine Colacchio, high jump, 5'10"; and Adam Renquinha, 600 meters, 1:36.5. Marotta's time in the 1000 meters, and Santiago's distance in the shot put, improved the Fitchburg High School field house records set last year.

Finishing second in the meet were Colacchio, 55 meter high hurdles, 8.3; Renquinha, 55 meter dash, 6.9; Logan, shot put, 40'2"; and Ben Roberts, high jump, 5'8". Completing the scoring with third place finishes were Everette Pankey, mile, 4:55.1; and Loi Trieu, 1000 meters, 2:52.1.

The Red Raiders travel to Brandeis University Saturday morning to compete in the Eighth Annual Stormin' Norman Holiday Classic in Waltham.


Grays Defeat Reds In Inter-Squad Meet
Red Raiders Prepare For St. John's

December 8, 2001 - The Fitchburg High School men's indoor track team ran an inter-squad meet Saturday morning in place of the Fitchburg Invitational, which had been cancelled due to repairs on the long jump pit at the end of the straightway.

In a spirited meet, the Red Raiders broke their team into two squads, the Reds and Grays, and conducted a simulated meet in preparation for St. John's (Shrewsbury), which visits the field house Wednesday afternoon at 5:00 p.m. The Greys ended up winning the meet, capturing six of the ten events, led by Bryan Marotta, who captured the 2 mile, 10:41.0, and the 1000 meters, 2:55.4. Other firsts for the Greys included Hector Santiago, shot put, 40'2.25"; Ben Roberts, high jump, 5'2"; Ryan Logan, 45 meter high hurdles, 7.2; and the mile relay team comprised of Logan, Everette Pankey, Roberts, and Andrew Bisol, 3:58.0. First place performances turned in by the Reds were Adam Renquinha, 600 meters, 1:36.9, and 45 meter dash, 6.0; Thomas Laakso, mile, 4:55.0; and Jordan Dursa, 300 meters, 41.8.

Finishing second for the Grays were Logan, shot put, 38'3.75"; Adam Basilio, 45 meter high hurdles, 8.1, and 600 meters, 1:37.7; Boonphet Sysoumang, 300 meters, 43.4; Roberts, 45 meter dash, 6.1; and Pankey, mile, 4:58.0. For the Reds, Chris Brodeur in the high jump, 4'10"; Jeremy Reid, 2 mile, 11:13.0; and Loi Trieu, 1000 meters, 3:03.1. Completing the scoring with third place performances for the Greys were Craig Elkins, high jump, 4'10", and 300 meters, 44.2; Bisol, high jump, 4'10"; and Mike Gagne, 1000, 3:17.3. For the Reds third place performances went to Greg Rodriguez, shot put, 38'2.5"; Ethan Shea, 45 meter high hurdles, 8.6; Brodeur, 45 meter dash, 6.2; Trieu, mile, 5:09.0; and Chris Kanclerowicz, 600 meters, 1:42.3.
